WordPress for BlackBerry updated to v.1.4.2 then hours later updated to v1.4.3. The v1.4.2 had a fix for those who weren’t able to validate their password and user name. The way the previous version worked, only editors had permission. I had run into that issue myself with a red triangle next to our name. The BlackBerry Torch has been out for some time now and it’s a pretty cool device. The combination of a touchscreen, keyboard and trackpad makes for some quality app interaction. A leaked Verizon End of Life document shows the various Verizon BlackBerrys and when they’re marked for death. The BlackBerry Storm2 and Curve 8530 are next on the list and will be terminated as of the Fall of 2010. The exact dates are October 10th for the Storm2 and September 16th for the 8530. There’s a new FREE theme by Zuki Software Ltd! Our friends from Zuki Mobile let us know about Zuki Ultimate for OS 4.7 and 5.0 only. It’s a simple and elegant theme that is still premium. Now I’ve seen some people offered v1 still, but for some v2.0 is showing, ready for download. Mostly what I’m seeing is those who took part in the BlackBerry Beta Zone with 2.0 are seeing it, while others who didn’t are still seeing v1. Hey Facebook users! RIM has just updated Facebook for BlackBerry to version 1.8.0.49. We haven’t heard what exactly this update brings to the table, but I’m sure its nothing too big, just the normal performance updates.
