MasterCard PayPass coming to BlackBerry in Canada

Contactless payment systems are on the rise, and their success might not be connected to credit and debit cards, but rather to mobile phones. At every mobile conference I’ve been to in the past few years, there has been someone presenting information about how your mobile phone will soon allow you to pay for everyday things. Via IntoMobile , we learn that the future is coming soon. MasterCard Canada is introducing its PayPass system for the BlackBerry. You slap a sticker on the back of your device, and it works wirelessly to process payment (and it works with your BlackBerry, so you can just stick any PayPass sticker on any device). Reload Software 522...So I have been having issues with my blackberry 8520 lately. I keep getting this "Reload software 522" error message and the only way to fix it is to wipe it clean. I'm really thinking of getting a Cliq or Mytouch. I hopped on over to BBGeeks.com because they always seem to have some solution to the ever plagued blackberry software and saw this www.bbgeeks.com and that really helped me. If that doesn't work for you then you have to disconnect the battery and then connect to the desktop manager so it can reinstall the software. I had to wipe my blackberry clean and reinstall everything. Thankfully I just finished backing everything up so I could add back whatever I needed.
